HAF Club QA Visit Feedback:

“Shape House offered the widest range of activities observed, including arts and crafts, music and disco rooms, baking and cooking areas, building and gaming zones, sewing, egg‑drop challenges, nerf guns, colouring and quiet spaces, creating an environment where every young person could find something they enjoyed. An impressive variety of food was available: yoghurts, sandwiches, cereals, meats, baked goods and fruit, all freshly prepared onsite using ingredients sourced from free‑range markets. Engagement varied due to SEND needs, but staff demonstrated excellent accessibility and support, ensuring all children were able to participate and enjoy themselves. Registers covered key details such as names, allergies, SEND needs and photo consent, and safeguarding was strong, with all staff first‑aid trained, one Level 3 DSL, three paediatric‑trained staff and two DDSLs onsite. The venue was described as exceptional, offering everything from large open areas to quiet rooms, all within a secure, well‑staffed building that felt welcoming and safe. Youth feedback was very positive, with comments highlighting enjoyment and the wide range of activities. The young advisor noted they would have attended themselves and praised the venue, security and exceptionally high level of youth participation.”
