Theatre group for Children and Young People with SEND Aged 11 – 17

Shape House Arts is a Community Interest Company (CIC) that works alongside our Alternative Provision, offering after school activities for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Our sessions will help build confidence, communication and social skills, while exploring different aspects of theatre craft. We strive to create a friendly and welcoming environment where everyone is encouraged to express themselves, make friends and shine in their own way.

Our Leads, Lucy and Konnor, bring a wealth of experience from both on and off the stage, with skills spanning lighting, sound, stage management, and production. They have worked with a variety of local theatre groups and have taken on leading roles in community productions, showcasing their passion and expertise in the performing arts. Lucy holds a BA (Hons) in Theatre, Acting and Performance, further strengthening their creative leadership.

Both are passionate about supporting children and young people with SEND, and strive to create fun, safe, and inclusive sessions where every participant can feel confident, valued, and inspired.
